Ekvachan and Bhauvachan (Singular and Plural)

In Hindi language, the Vachan (वचन) (Numbers) plays a significant role in changing the noun from singular to plural. There are two types of Vachan (Numbers) one is Ekvachan (एकवचन) and another is Bhauvachan (बहुवचन). 

1. Ekvachan (एकवचन) (Singular): The word that helps in determining a single subject or a single object is called ekvachna. For example, ladki (लड़की) (girl), kitaab (किताब)(book), ghoda (घोडा) (horse), etc. 

2. Bhuvachan (बहुवचन) (Plural): The word that helps in identifying more than one object or subject is known as bahuvachan. For example, ladkiya ( लड़कियाँ ) (girls), Kitaaben (किताबें) (books), ghode (घोड़े) (horses), etc.
